My sincere condolences to Mark, Cynthia, and Jeff. Your Dad was a giant among men, in war, in ATCA, and in life. Gabe was a quiet man with a big heart and professionally he helped many people and especially those that shared his passion for aviation and the FAA. Gabe took an interest in me and mentored me when I asked for his help. I will always remember and appreciate his kindness. May God continue to bless you all.

My deepest sympathy to Cindy, Mark and Jeff. Uncle Gabe was a wonderful man. He was a great host the one time George and I visited him. We had a wonderful evening, Once George had summer training when you lived in Colorado and he looked your family up, they treated him so nice and George never forgot that. May he rest in peace. What a wonderful reunion when he reached heaven,Vivian, his parents, brothers and sisters and lots of friends. God Bless.

Peace, prayers and blessings to all the family at this time. Gabe was an inspiration to me all through my Army career. I haven't seen Gabe in many years, last time when he was in Omaha and attended my wedding in 1994. I know he is in a special place in Heaven and my Grandma Vala welcomed him with open arms at Heavens gate!!

While I didn't have the opportunity to work with Gabe at ATCA the stories were many that were shared. He loved ATCA and left an enduring legacy on the association. He will be missed and my thoughts go to Cindy in this time of saddness.

A great American. He served his country faithfully and honorably, and then played a major role in the creation and maintenance of the ATCA, through both good and difficult times. A man with a global aviation vision along with loads of human kindness. His ATCA outreach efforts touched every corner of the world. My deepest condolences to Cindy and the Hartl family.

Gabe was there from the begining of ATCA and dedicated many years to it. For many years, Gsbe was the ATCA. From our first exhibi by Raytheon at The Kalor (sp?) Green Oaks in Ft. Worth to today's exhibits by many, Gabe's touch is there. Rest in Peace.
