Obituary of E. Toussaint

Toussaint, Ann S. On February 10, 2013 at her home in Reston, VA; beloved wife of 42 years of Joseph W. Toussaint; loving and devoted mother of Leslie Toussaint Watchinski (Matthew) of Columbia, MD and loving grandmother of Andrew. Also survived by her brother James A. Starkweather, Jr. of Sherman Oaks, CA, and preceded in death by her parents James and Erla Starkweather. Born in Duluth, MN on January 12, 1934, Ann grew up in Eugene, Oregon and graduated from the University of Oregon and received her Master of Arts from Columbia University. She taught in public schools in California, New Jersey and New York. She worked at Regional Plan Association in New York City and was an editor for the ERIC Clearing House at UCLA. She traveled extensively in the U.S. and abroad and accompanied her family on assignments to Cairo, Egypt and La Paz, Bolivia for the Department of State. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00AM on Sat. Feb 23, 2013 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 11900 Lawyers Rd, Reston, VA. Interment will be private.
