"Jane Kasper Mother of Dawn Kasper, Scott Kasper and Wife to Peter Kasper passed away on March 6th at 11:30pm at FairOaks Inova Hospital. Jane was born on February 9th, 1945 in Haverhill MA to Sarah (Sally) Johansen and Frederick Johansen. She grew up in Groveland MA and graduated from Pentucket Regional High School in West Newberry MA. She met her Husband Pete Kasper while attending Arizona State University and they were married June 6th, 1964 in Haverhill MA at St. John the Baptist. She spent many years traveling the country with her family from Orange County California, Griffith Indiana, Glouster Virginia and finally settling in Herndon Virginia. She has spent the majority of her life as an educator and charitable contributor. In 2011 she retired from teaching at the Edlin School where she was a faculty member for over 10 years. At the Edlin School Jane was more than an educator she was a true friend to all that entered the doors. Her life legacy was to leave a positive impact on the young minds that were in her care. Without knowing it her gift was felt by all that were involved with the school far beyond that of the students. Jane is survived by her husband Pete Kasper, daughter Dawn Kasper, son Scott Kasper, sister Ingrid Heath, brother-in-law Jack Heath, Daughter-in-law Cheryl Kasper, grandson Brennan Kasper, granddaughter Avery Kasper, grandson Zachary Kasper. Niece Cynthia Billen her husband John and their children Hunter and Conner."
