Please share a memory of Eva to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Eva L. Frickman, 72, the widow of USAF CMSgt James Andrew Frickman, died Monday, (March 18, 2013) at the home of her son and his family after a courageous battle with leukemia. Born March 17th 1941 in Panama, she resided in Sterling VA since 1983. Eva was retired from Siemens Enterprise Communications. She enjoyed her retirement by spending time with her family and playing with her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking especially for holiday dinners and she loved watching sporting events with her family especially football and boxing. Her faith was also important as she attended a weekly Rosary Group at Christ the Redeemer in Sterling VA and weekly Adoration at Our Lady of Hope in Potomac Falls VA. She was kindhearted and loved everyone, especially her family and will be greatly missed. Eva was inspirational to all who knew her and faced adversity throughout her life with courage, strength and grace. Although our hearts are heavy, we rejoice that she is free of pain and in the presence of the Lord. She is survived by a twin brother Cholo Miranda of Panama; daughter Sandra Stugart and her husband Todd of Centreville VA, a son Andrew J. Frickman, his wife Cami, and their children Josie, Jimmy, Sawyer, and Bart of Sterling, VA. She is also survived by many extended family members and wonderful friends.
Family will receive friends at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St., Herndon, VA on Friday, from 6 to 8 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church 750 Peachtree Street Herndon, VA 20170.
