Obituary of Nina Marie Rector

Nina Marie Rector (Pete), of Fairfax VA, died on Thursday April 4, 2013 at her home. Born September 22, 1926, in Sterling, VA. She was the daughter of the late Bertha E. Kidwell and Everett H. Smith. She is survived by her son William "Billy" D. Rector and sister Gertrude Fletcher of Sterling, and Aileen Holmes of AZ. She was preceded in death by her sisters Elizabeth McDonnall, Margaret Donaldson and brother William Smith. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, special friend, and will surely be missed by all those whose life she touched. A more caring person is hard to find. The family will receive friends on Sunday April 7, 2013 from 12-2pm at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street Herndon VA. A graveside service will be held on Monday April 8, 2013 at 11:30am at Sterling Cemetery, located on Church Road in Sterling VA. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made in her name to the National Foundation for Cancer Research or the National Kidney Foundation.
