Dianne, Please accept my sincere condolonces for the loss of your husband (and Allison's Dad). What you must be feeling now is unimaginable to me so I will pray for your peace and comfort. I worked with Dana for many years at NRECA and I know he was deeply devoted to his family so I know that this loss will create a huge void. I was surprised and very saddened to have heard of his passing. Remember, it's OK to cry...tears are a language God understands.

My Family has been deeply touched by Dana with his many generosities. I will always remember the cruises that he organized and his help learning more about cruises than I would ever have gotten to know on my own. My heart is saddened today to know that the world has lost one of the nicest people I have ever known. God Bless...Dana! My all your earthly challenges be behind you and my wishes that your are in a better place today. Kevin Kilcarr

Time, is more than what we see when we look at a clock on the wall or our watch. It is life's most precious gift that draw people together. There is always a time to play, a time to cry, a time to smile, a time to laugh, a time to rejoice, a time to be serious and a time to pay attention. Of all the time we mentally record, the most heartfelt is when its time to to give birth and time to say "Rest In Peace." Several years ago, I worked at NRECA where I had the opportunity to get to know Mr. Dana Butts. I enjoyed working in his department and on his team. He was a great boss and will be missed dearly by many. I wish his wife, Dianne and daughter Allison much peace and comfort, today and all the days ahead.

Gary and I are sorry to hear about Dana's recent passing. We will never forget him or his love of baseball hats. Nor, can we forget his turkey frame soup or card games on a rainy night. May the comfort of fond stories about how kind Dana was ease the pain you are feeling today.

How sad I was to hear about Dana's passing. He was my supervisor for 27 years, and I'll always remember his care and concern for the NRECA membership and his employees, but most of all his wife, Diane, and daughter, Allison. We will miss him dearly. Sorry I could not make it to the viewing or funeral, but know that my family and I are praying for your comfort and peace.
