Janis Hawks Myers, 57
Passed away quietly on Thursday, May 2nd, 2013. She will be dearly missed by her husband, Mark Myers, her son Justin Robert Hawks, her father Robert A. Hauck, her sister Virginia Sandifer and her nephew Matthew Sandifer, as well as many friends and neighbors. A native of Virginia Beach, VA, Janis loved the outdoors, being near the ocean and raising and caring for her two Labrador Retrievers. Janis was an accomplished golfer and last worked as an assistant golf professional. The family is planning to gather with friends at Janis and Mark's home in Reston, VA, on Saturday, May 11, to exchange remembrances and celebrate a life that brought happiness and friendships to many.
