Obituary of Frances Matilde Brill

Frances "Mattie" Brill of Sterling, Virginia passed away peacefully on May 14, 2013. Mattie was born December 19, 1948 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She is the daughter of Carmen Amoros- Cabrera and Francisco Antonio Rodriguez- Velez. She moved to the United States with her family at the age of 8, and grew to be a professional woman of many interests and talents, including art, exquisite fashion, and scrumptious, irresistible cooking. Mattie was distinguished by her magnetic spirit and loving nature to all she met. She loved to learn new things, travel globally working for Intelsat in Washington, D.C., and spend time with her family. She is survived by her husband Harry T. Brill Jr. and their three children Tilden of Wake Forest, North Carolina and Jamie and Maria of Sterling, Virginia. She is also survived by her sister Sara Voigt of Baltimore, Maryland and Francisco Rodriguez of Annapolis, Maryland. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 10550 Georgetown Pike, Great Falls, Virginia 22066.
