My deepest condolences to Ted's family and many close friends. I met him at Metz Jr high in 8th grade advanced world history. Ted's laugh, insatiable need for the details and smile were infectious. He always had a kind word on a down day for anyone he knew and was truly a loving soul. I am moved to have known him even for that short time span in my life. Cathy, You are in our thoughts and prayers. Ted was indeed a “light” in our world and I am truly thankful that he was able to be a part of Cassie Anne's birth. He had a way of making everyone feel special and loved and in a time when all the focus was on the birth of Cassie Anne, a time when other children in a family tend to get a little neglected, he did special things with my boys to keep them from feeling left out. I will always be greatful for that. They even gave him the nickname, “Aunty Ted”. He will be missed, but his light will live on in our hearts and memories.

Ted, I will never forget the day that we met. Your kindness and generosity to Jean and I, when we didn't even know each other, showed how giving you were on a daily basis.
