Erika was exceptional. Exceptionally strong, she stood up for what she believed was right. Exceptionally courageous, she fought cancer with grace and toughness. Exceptionally kind, she had a generous heart and natural inclination to give to others unselfishly. Exceptionally insightful, she saw the big picture instead of focusing on her own interests. Exceptionally vivacious, she was full of life and love and drew people together in every community she touched. I am so grateful for her friendship and so saddened by her loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with all who loved her - especially with Brenna and Ryan, who have lost a most remarkable mother.
