Obituary of Donald Wesley Poindexter

Mr. Donald Poindexter, 83 of Sterling passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Heritage Hall in Leesburg. Mr. Poindexter was born in High Point, NC on December 20, 1929, the son of the late George Wesley Poindexter and Josephine Cecil Poindexter. He was retired from the Federal Government after 35 years of service. He was also an avid golfer. Surviving are his loving wife Marge of 45 years, a son, Chris, a daughter Donna Lockhart, husband James, and brother Kenneth M. Poindexter. He was a very proud grandfather of Wesley Lockhart, Alexandra Poindexter, Jenna Lockhart and Alaina Poindexter. A nephew Randy Poindexter, two great nieces, and one great nephew. Donald was preceded in death by his sister Lois R. Poindexter.
