Obituary of Jill Kaitlin Clampitt

Jill Kaitlin Clampitt, born April 2, 1987 in Fairfax, VA, passed away prematurely on Sunday, July 7, 2013 due to cardiac arrest from an undiagnosed heart condition. At only 26 years of age, Jill leaves behind her adoring parents Janet and Jerry, an older sister Jaime, an older brother Josh, a nephew Caleb, and many loving family members, friends, co-workers, and students. Jill graduated from Potomac Falls High School in Sterling, VA in 2005 and went on to complete her Master of Arts in Education from West Virginia University. She was a seventh grade special education teacher at Poe Middle School in Annandale, VA. Simply stated, Jill was awesome. She was loyal, honest, thoughtful, witty, and incredibly fun. Jill had a unique way of connecting with people that would often transcend the traditional boundaries between friend and family. Known for her big personality and frequent laughter, she loved traveling, shopping and above all, spending time with those she loved.
