I knew Steve years ago when I worked along side him in NOC at AOL. I'm very saddened to hear of his passing, he is such a dynamic and interesting person, always fun to be around. I remember in meetings at AOL with audiences that filled an auditorium, he would wait until the speaker (like Steve Case) was introduced and everyone was quiet, he would yell out "Hi Steve!". I'll never forget him asking for a moat around the Reston Tech center. His memory will always be fond one!
