LtC James "Mike" Clune had the courage! He had courage to stop the train in Havre, Montana and propose to his Toady! The train only stopped for 5 minutes and she said YES!
He had the courage to be a solider. When the Army gave him orders for Vietnam, it took all of his courage to tell Toady!! It took courage to leave his wife and his two very young children and go to a war zone. He was welcomed home with Honor by his family and friends.
It took courage to become a father to his Shawn, Erin and Cristy. By the time he became a "Papa" to his Henry and Maddy he was well seasoned with courage.
Courage was demanded of Mike for 22 years of Military duty.
Changing from Military to civilian life took courage and he did this with honor.
At the end of his life, it had taken all of his courage to deal with the Alzheimer's. So, today his family and friends give honor to James Michael Clune, a most courageous and honorable Irishman! All my love to you for always and ever my dear. Toady

July 10th the Clune family said goodbye to our beloved dad. We spent the day with him and held his hand until he passed into the heavens. What an awesome dad I was given for 43 years and how blessed I am to have gotten him, as MY dad! Watch over us Montana Mike. All my love, Cristy
