I worked with Marilyn at Hayfield Elementary and lived down the street from her on Ashfield Road. She was always so caring and loving towards the students, staff, and parents. I remember how she always dressed to the nines, and I loved to see what she would wear every day. Her house and yard were always so pretty, and added so much to our neighborhood. She was a special lady, and is greatly missed.

Marilyn and I were school mates from kindergarten through graduation from high school. I played in the band and Marilyn was drum majorette. A lot of memories over a lot of years. I hope you find comfort in the love and memories you have of your mother.

What a treasure Marilyn was....I loved her sense of humor. She was a great help to me when I substituted at Hayfield EL many years ago and my 35 year old son fondly remembers Miss Marilyn when she taught his 4 year old class at Virginia Hills Baptist Church MDO. I am honored to have taught directly with your mom at Hayfield ES for several months when she worked with Janet Christoff. I can picture them now together chatting and laughing together in heaven!! Your mom was such a sweet and delightful lady...a joy to work with...always a smile on her face. I had missed seeing her out and about in Hayfield since she moved.
