Obituary of Isidro Perido Alvarez

Isidro P. Alvarez of Ashburn, VA passed away on September 2, 2013. He was born on May 15, 1940 in Indang, Cavite in the Philippines. He was a graduate of Mapua Institute of Technology in Manila and worked as a mechanical engineer for 42 years before retiring in 2006. He is the loving son of Santiago and Francisca Alvarez and brother of Evangelina Relos and Rosita Alvarez. He is survived by his devoted wife Velma Alvarez; daughters, Vanessa, Suzette, Aimee, and Valerie; and grandchildren, Olivia, Sophia, and Jackson. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation at Adams-Green Funeral Home at 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA 20170 on Friday, September 6 from 5 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 7th at 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Parish at 750 Peachtree Street, Herndon VA 20170. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Lymphoma Society and the Red Cross.
