Obituary of Roland Hugh Shubert

Roland (Ron) H. Shubert passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013, as a result of complications from lung disease and pneumonia. He had been a patent attorney in Northern Virginia for more than 40 years and was a graduate of Colorado School of Mines and George Washington University School of Law. He is mourned by his wife, Jan; his son, Rod and grandsons Ryan, Jacob, and Stephen; his stepson, Chris Dudas and grandsons Connor and Riley, and three surviving brothers, Bruce, Paul, and Mark. Three of Ron's brothers preceded him in death. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 17 at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax, in Oakton, VA.
