Obituary of Thaddeus Staskiewicz

Thaddeus Stakiewicz Jr. January 29th 1956 - November 1, 2013, Ted Staskiewicz, 57, of Sterling VA, died peacefully Friday November 1, 2013, at the INOVA Alexandria Hospital as a result of a massive brain bleed. Ted was born on January 29, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Thaddeus Staskiewicz Sr. and his wife Helen. Ted is survived by his mother Helen, his sisters Diane (Fred) DiDio and Karen Staskiewicz, along with his family of friends here in Virginia. Ted was currently employed as a consultant for TWD and Associates in Arlington VA. Ted graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Horticulture followed by a masters degree in Meteorology from Penn State University. A job then brought Ted to the Washington D.C. area where he established his home and developed friendships that lasted nearly thirty years. A memorial service was held Tuesday November 5, 2013, 6- 8 pm. Another service will be held at the Blake and Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 West 103rd St. Oak Lawn IL, 60453, on Thursday November 14, 2013 with a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial held at St. Christina Church. Interment to take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the American heart association or St. Jude Children Research Hospital
