David A. Albertson died on Sunday, November 24, 2013. He was born December 30, 1957 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to Don and Margaret Albertson. David attended Parchment schools and then Kalamazoo College where he was a basketball standout. He graduated with a degree in economics and found his true calling in journalism. He was the Editorial Director for the publishing company, Source Media, with editorial offices headquartered in Arlington, Virginia. He volunteered his free time as a youth basketball coach for the Herndon Optimists League. David is survived by his wife Doreen and their son Joshua of Herndon, VA. He leaves behind many good memories, friends and family in Virginia as well as in the Michigan area.
