Obituary of Gloria V. Crawford

Gloria V. Crawford On December 1, 2013, Gloria V. Crawford of Northern Virginia departed this life. Born in Queens, New York, her parents emigrated from Italy. She was the eighth of 10 children. Gloria was a loving wife to Frank A. Crawford who preceded her in death; the devoted mother of Robin Heller and Michael Crawford (Carolyn); and a doting grandmother of four. Gloria was determined, hard working and vibrant throughout her life. She held her first job as a teenager and continued to work until taken ill in November. Her passions included her children and grandchildren, as well as gardening, cooking, interior design and fashion. With her passing, Heaven has become a little more glamorous. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, on Friday, December 13, 2013 at St. Thomas Beckett Church, Reston, VA. Interment will be held at St. Augustine Church Cemetery in South Glastonbury, CT on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 10:00 AM.
