To the Cerick Family: I wanted to send my deepest and sincere condolences during this unfortunate time in your lives. As humans we want to live, and we want to enjoy live with those we love. It is only natural that we yearn to see our dead loved ones again. I would like to share a scripture to bring your family much needed comfort found at John 5:28,29 which in part reads:" Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out,". Your family will be in my prayers, my sincere condolences.

So sorry to hear of Mary Ann's passing. She was a great lady and our family has always had the highest regard for her. She was quite a lady. She lived just at the end of the court where my in-laws lived on Bruce Ct. so we knew her well.

So very sorry about Mary Ann's passing. She always made everyone feel welcome and never turned down the opportunity to check in with you and see how you were doing. She was a cornerstone in Herndon and the place will not be the same without her laughter and passion for the town.

Mary Ann is one of those rare people who is always remembered, even if known for a short time. I will always remember her infectious laughter, her joy in life and her caring heart. She carried such a positive energy with her and you couldn’t help but share in it, when with her… even if just talking on the phone. It was a joy and a privilege to have worked with her at Community Bank and I’m glad I had a chance to know her. My thoughts and prayers to the family at this sad and difficult time. God Bless.

Debbie, I did not know your mother but I know the wonderful, caring person you are so I know her legacy. The passing of a parent, no matter the age, is one of life's major passages. I know you will make this journey with grace and love. And we know that her spirit will never be far from you, guiding and loving you as always. I will make a donation in her name to the shelter. The poodle in the picture, perhaps Tinkerbelle, looks just like one I had very long ago. Take care, Sally
