My deepest sympathies are extended to Don's family. It has been years since I have seen Don but I recall him as being very quiet and distinguished ! I have some memories of family get togethers but time and distance have not afforded me the chance to see him in a long while. You are all in my thoughts and prayers, I know my cousin Don will be missed . The memories will get you all through this trying time and his life will be celebrated.

We would like to express our sympathy to Pat, David and Lucy, Ron, Carl, Tom and the rest of Don’s family. We remember Don as a kind, caring and intelligent man with a good sense of humor. Don is Ruth Ann Gourley’s cousin. Ruth Ann remembers Don as a very close cousin. They played together in their younger days. She thought Don was very nice and enjoyed the time they spent together. She remembers when they would go to Frick Park and feed the squirrels. She also appreciated their friendship as they grew up. They kept in touch and she always enjoyed his company. Ruth Ann’s granddaughter, Diane, was married to Bradford Boyle in August 2008, and Don and Pat attended their wedding. We will miss Don. As years passed Don,and his family became 'distant relatives',due to the geographical locations of our residences,but when we were children,we were much closer,and I recall sharing good times with my sister,and her two kids Don and Dave. i'm sorry that all of his great accomplishments were not known to me,but on catching up with them it makes me very proud to be Don,s uncle,and it saddens me to know that his family,and his community will be missing his loving input into their lives. GODSPEED NEPHEW!!
