I am very sorry to hear about Steve's passing. The last time I saw Steve was sometime around 1989, and I have nothing but very fond memories of him. I really always thought I'd see him again. I remember his Volkswagen Bug - we had a lot of fun with that car. My thoughts are with Steve's family.

Steve and I shared some of our younger years, mostly while we both lived in New York still. The last time I saw him was just before his first child was born, and he was bummed that my hair was still longer than his. I miss that time and am sad to know that he is gone. My condolences to those he left behind.
