Obituary of James F.M. McNulty

James Francis Martin McNulty April 6, 1924 - January 3, 2014 Jim McNulty passed away peacefully at his home in Sterling, VA at age 89. He was born in Brooklyn, NY. After graduating from high school he served his country as a bomber pilot in the Pacific Theatre during World War II at the rank of 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Air Corps., piloting the B-29 "Superfortress". Following his military service he earned his undergraduate and law degrees from Fordham University. He was a partner in private law practice in New York City for 30 years before relocating to Virginia. He also practiced law in Florida. Jim is survived by his loving wife Rose of 60 years with whom he raised 6 children: James of Los Gatos, CA; Carlene McNulty of Wake Forest, NC; Rosemarie Cornell of Clifton Park, NY; Margaret Skrocki of Reston, VA; Catherine Sensenig of Ft. Washington, MD; and Bernadette Galloway of Reston, VA. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren. Jim will be interred at the Arlington National Cemetery.
