Obituary of Brian Edward Geist

Brian Edward Geist, 57, of Sterling, Virginia, died January 2. He was born to the late Ernest and Jane Geist, January 27, 1956 in Falls Church, Virginia. He graduated from Falls Church High in 1973. Brian married Kim Bassett on July 15, 1989. He is survived by Kim; their two loving children, Kristi Bassett Geist, 23, and Dylan Edward Geist, 22; and his sister, Ernestine Daley, of Reading, Pennsylvania. Brian spent his entire professional life, over four decades, in the car business, most recently at Criswell Chevrolet where he had been the General Sales Manager for the past six years. He has been described as ³the best in the biz.² Brian was full of life and energy, and he used that energy to support, motivate and inspire those around him. His kindness and generosity knew no bounds. He loved baseball, especially his Washington Nationals. He loved music and enthusiastically shared new artists with friends. He loved the beach, and could always find peace there. And he loved spoiling those he loved. Adored by family, loved by friends and respected by coworkers, Brian will be terribly missed by all.
