Robert W. Rylander, Jr. - Herndon, VA Robert W. Rylander, Jr., 68, of Herndon, VA, passed away Friday, January 10, 2014. He was born on September 25th, 1945 and was preceded in death by his parents Robert W. Rylander and Dorothy (Rae) Rylander. He was the devoted father of Robert W. Rylander III of Richmond, VA, and Rebecca J. Gehley and her husband, David M. of Ashburn, VA. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Matthew and Michael Gehley; and 3 brothers, Roy Rylander of Michigan, Roger Rylander and his wife Jan of Illinois, and Ross Rylander and his wife Karen of Illinois. Services will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, January 18, 2014 in St. David's Episcopal Church, 43600 Russell Branch Pkwy, Ashburn, VA. Inurnment to be held immediately afterwards. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
