Obituary of Donald Arthur Flynn

Donald "Don" Flynn of Herndon, VA passed away on January 19, 2014 surrounded by his family. Don grew up in Chalmers, Indiana. He left home at the age of 18 to become a clerk at FBI headquarters in Washington, DC. He quickly moved on to his dream job as an officer with Fairfax County Police Department, where he worked as he put himself through college. In 1980 he became an agent with the U.S. Secret Service where he served on the Reagan and Clinton Details, among many other assignments. At the time of his death he was Vice President of Security Strategies for Disney Parks and Resorts. Don is survived by his wife of 23 years, Kam (Kathy) and his sons Jack and Joe; his mother, Carol; his brothers Clifford and Carl; his sisters Linda and LouAnn; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
