Obituary of Owen McKensie Jones

Owen McKensie Jones Born April 19, 1952 Died January 26, 2014 Owen M. Jones passed away peacefully on January 26, 2014. Owen was born in Elmira, New York on April 19, 1952 to Owen and Mary Lou Jones. After receiving his bachelor's degree at Washington and Jefferson and his master's at Penn State, Owen moved to the Washington, DC area to pursue a career with the federal government. Owen is survived by his partner, Maggie McLoughlin, and their children, Anna, Aidan and Caelan Jones. He was preceded in death by his children, Edmund and Nora, who died soon after birth. Owen is also survived by his parents, his siblings, Gregory (Sharon) and Korin (Brenda), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Potomac Baptist Church, 20747 Lowes Island Boulevard, Potomac Falls, VA, 10am Thursday, January 30, 2014.
