Obituary of LaVaune Teresa Markon

LaVaune Teresa Markon, age 85, of Fairfax, passed away at her home on January 25 after a lengthy illness. She was a devoted mother and is survived by her five children, Melanie Mustone, Mariette Walsh, Madelaine Thomas, Mitchell Markon, and Matthew Markon. She was the beloved grandmother to nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Family will receive guests from 6:00-9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29 at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St., Herndon, VA. Funeral mass will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 30 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 750 Peachtree St., Herndon, VA. Interment will follow at Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Herndon.
