Michael A. Miranda "The Don" age 68
On Jan. 31, 2014 at INOVA Loudoun Hospital; Beloved husband of Ethel Miranda of Ashburn, VA; Loving and devoted father of Michael Miranda (Melanie) of Ashburn, Serena Miranda Schell (Andrew) of Oak Hill, VA and Patrick Miranda of Reston, VA. Brother of Dr. Ralph Miranda (Billy Ann), Frank Miranda, Lettie Golden (Robert), he is also survived by five grandchildren, Colette, Jillian, Michael, Zachary and Cooper along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A veteran of the United States Air Force, Mr. Miranda served on the Board of Directors at Freedom Bank of Virginia. He was an avid golfer who valued his time with his family and friends. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Wed. Feb. 5, 2014 at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St. Herndon, VA 20170. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 am Thurs. Feb 6, 2014 at St. Theresa Catholic Church 21370 St. Theresa Lane Ashburn, VA 20148. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the William and Catherine Goodrum Pulmonary Fibrosis Fund at INOVA Fairfax, 8110 Gatehouse Rd.
