I knew Nancy when she attended Frontline, the singles ministry at McLean Bible Church. She introduced me to her friends who rented beach houses at the Outer Banks every fall, a wonderful tradition that lasted for years. Most of us had lost touch with Nancy when she was ill and did not know about her passing. She was one of the most loving, caring people I have ever met. She always looked out for the needs of other people. She was cheerful even when facing challenges and encouraged others. She loved her horse farm, her horses and dogs. She was ambitious, wanting to make a difference at her job and at her farm. She was a very hard worker. She and I talked about her father passing away and I am so glad that she is reunited with him. I am glad she is in a better place, in peace and out of pain. And undoubtedly helping God out with the horses.

I met Nancy when we were boarding at the same barn in Maryland. Not only was she incredibly generous with her time and knowledge about horses, she was my toddler's hero. Nancy put up with that with aplomb and even enjoyed it (I hope). She was instrumental in saving my horse's life when he colicked - she offered to drive him to Morven Park and stayed with me until he had recovered from anesthesia.
I'm so sorry that we lost track of one another after her dad died and I moved.
She used to relate anecdotes about her long-haired dachshund she had as a child and I was thinking of her when we acquired ours. I'll have to spoil her a little extra tonight in Nancy's honour.
I'm so sorry she's gone. I hope that she and Had My Chance (and Belle!) are together again and never missing a stride.

Today is April 23, 2014 and I just found out that my dear, dear friend Nancy has passed away. I'm so so sad that I did not get to see her before she left us to go thru heaven's gates. Nancy and I worked together and we formed a real "sister bond." She and I shared a love and passion for horses and we both love the Lord. My heart is heavy today with this news, but I know she is not in pain and I can't wait to see her again in heaven. Rest well my dear friend.

Even during her illness, Nancy was a caring friend and thought of others before herself. She always offered kind words and practical advice. She never doubted the love and forgiveness that our Lord has for each and every one of us. She was very instrumental in helping me grow in my faith and realizing my self-worth. I will greatly miss her friendship and support, but know she is still near in eternal spirit.

I remember you as the little girl, age 6, that was a flower girl in our wedding in 1966 in Wisconsin.
Sometimes life is short but God must have plans for you in his Garden of Flowers. It is almost a year
since my husband, Roger, died of pancreatic cancer. Say Hi to him for me and may the two of you enjoy
God's greatest kingdom. I love you both.

I met Nancy @ Life With Cancer Art Class we had allot of great times there and her mom Jo. Nancy also introduced me to Pampered Palliate David and Pat. Nancy introduced me to Society of Decorative Painters which I'm very thankful for. Nancy had a love for water color painting most of all she was one of the sweetest people I have ever met. After painting her mom and Nancy and I would go have a late lunch and then sometimes go to a place in Vienna and take pictures of flowers so she could paint them at a later date. Nancy never complained and was the happiest person and generous too. God has gotten an other ANGEL!!! Rest in Peace your know longer suffering. God Bless you! Love you, Nancy and will miss you! Nancy, you were truly special! You thought of others first, always had a warm and gentle smile on your face, and people just felt peace while in your midst. You loved the Lord, and your mom and dad couldn't have been more proud to have you as their daughter. So sad to see you go. I have many special memories of you, and whether they are from Wisconsin, Arizona, or Virginia, they are all looked upon as really special times. Your suffering is now over, and I know who's presence you are in. His perfect peace and love are upon you now.

Nancy, we will all miss you! You were a sweet, genuine, and beautiful person. I wish we could have spent more time together in these past years. All of the special memories of you spending the summers with us on the farm will always be treasured. You were like my kid sister. I loved taking care of you! You loved spending time on the farm and Uncle Art and Aunt Eleanor loved having you there! It was so nice when you moved to Tucson to start a new job. I was able to see you more often. How fun it was to watch you in some of your horse shows! How fast this time has gone. The happy moments we shared will always be with me.
Rest in peace dear Nancy...
Love, Jeanie

.This past Sept. my doorbell rang.Opening the door, there was a pretty young girl holding a package. My first thought "This is a young high school student selling candy or cookies for a fundraiser" Holding up the package she said "this is for you". Being 87 years old I was very hesitant as I had not seen Nancy for 35 years. After explaining she was my niece, there was a family gathering that evening getting to know the sweet and talented person she was. It was so much fun. What I thought was a package of bar candy to be sold was a gift of delicious cheeses. She will always be rememberd as "The Candy Salesgirl". Love, Uncle Tony

I first met Nancy about 4 years ago when she came to Pampered Palette to advance her painting abilities. Our love of art and thirst for knowledge of all arts forms quickly made us all friends - David, Randy, Nancy and Me.
Thanks to David's generosity, we were able to get together many Sunday afternoons to explore a new medium, art form and on many occasions to just talk. Then one day while registering for a clinical trial with my husband at Georgetown, I noticed Nancy behind us on line. I mention this only because that was the only way I knew she was battling Cancer. Nancy never complained, talked about her illness or let it stop her from what she wanted to do -- all with a smile on her face. She was always upbeat and positive, warm and friendly despite how she felt. Like my husband, Nancy is now in heaven and I would like to think she is still smiling and due to her love of color painting rainbows for all of us to enjoy. Picture that I uploaded is of Nancy painting Treasure Boxes for ill children in Shriner's Hospitals - all in lovely pinks and violets.

We met Nancy about 4 years ago when she came to our studio to begin decorative painting lessons. Nancy became a real true friend and came almost every Sunday afternoon to paint with myself, Pat and Randi. In that short period we painted in many different mediums including oils, watercolors, acrylics, etc. Each week or so we would try something different enabling us to all learn and advance. Nancy rapidly became a very special person to all of us. Her great outlook on life and her passion for art was infectious. She will be greatly missed by all of us at Pampered Palette.

Nancy Puccinni was an avid student in my watercolor painting class and she was quite a good painter. She knew exactly what she wanted to paint and she always created a piece that told a story. She wasn't afraid of trying any technique. She was persistent and good humored...always...in her pursuit of a beautiful painting. I think she left a legacy of some very nice pieces that I hope someone will cherish forever. All of us are going to miss her gentle presence.
