Katherine (Kay) began what has become known as the "Lock Out Club" at the Doane Family Assocation reunions. She would be thrilled when someone got locked out of their room at the hotel or dorm we were staying in. She even made a special presentation at the final banquet to those who had been "Locked Out", and gave them a certificate of "membership". Funny, funny. Sorry she didn't make the 2012 Plymouth reunion.
Worked with Katherine (Kay) for 10 years on the genealogy of our family. There is not a finer lady and dedicated person that we know of. She will be totally missed by the complete Doane Family Association. Her dedication was unequalled.
