I was 14.5 when she was born and it was like having a new sister, rather than a niece She was as happy as a child as she became in adulthood. . As I watched her grow up she matured into one of the most well adjusted individuals I have ever known, period. She had the amazing ability to bring happiness into any situation. If their is one quality I would hope for her children, to take from her life is the ability to see the positive and realize that happiness is s choice you make. She defined happiness. Every remembrance of her brings a happy thought. Love you, 'Chelle, Uncle Joe.

"To those going through the valley and shadow of death, hear this word: Weeping will last through some dark, awful nights — and in that darkness you will soon hear the Father whisper, ‘I am with you. I cannot tell you why right now, but one day it will all make sense. You will see it was all part of my plan. It was no accident. It was no failure on your part. Hold fast. Let me embrace you in your hour of pain.’ Beloved, God has never failed to act but in goodness and love. When all means fail — his love prevails. Hold fast to your faith. Stand fast in his Word. There is no other hope in this world." Pastor David Wilkerson shortly before his death from injuries sustained in a car accident

While I only knew Michelle for the last several years, she was such an awesome friend who touched my life in so many ways. She turned me onto grilled asparagus, pumpkin cake, christian rock, and of course "what was your high today and what was your low?" at family dinner time. I cannot think of a more special and giving person, putting everyone above herself. Michelle, you will be missed beyond words. Kids, we are praying for each of you. With love.

Michelle was a wonderfully sweet person, she was beautiful inside and out. I regret not getting to spend more time with her over the years, but the time I did was always special. I always felt a connection to her and she will always be in my heart. Judy, Mom and I both have you in our thoughts and prayers. We love you very much.

Michelle was a very special woman as many can attest: a woman of integrity, a woman of courage and conviction, a woman of faith... passionate about the things she valued and believed in. Her departure from this life leaves a huge hole, but because she had placed her faith in Jesus Christ, her life took on fullness of meaning and purpose because of Him. We who believe in and follow Jesus--as Michelle did--have this assurance from Scripture: death is not the end, that we will see her again, for "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." Thank you, Michelle, for a life well-lived and for leaving a legacy of faith and commitment to Jesus Christ! (2 Timothy 4:7-8) Pastor Richard Parke McLean Bible Church

I had the pleasure of knowing Michelle through my oldest Son Jacob. Jacob and Nick played football together and were close friends. Jacob spent time at the youth bible studies that Michelle would organize for the boys. Michelle was a truly spiritual woman and an angel on earth. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and children.

Michelle was my cousin. She was 11 years older than me, and I always looked up to her. I remember spending time with her at Granny & Baba's house. "Baba" is what we called our Grandfather. I remember Michelle as a very happy and sweet person that knew everyone. As she grew older and had her own vehicle for transportation, she was always on the go in her Honda. But family always came first. No matter what, she always made time for her family. I really enjoyed the times we spent together.
One of my fondest memories of Michelle is when she took me to see Batman Forever. I just looked up when that movie was released: 1995. Wow. It must have been 1995, then, because the movie was in theatres. Val Kilmer played Batman in this version, and we giggled and talked about how cute Val Kilmer was. This was a special day for me because I had not seen Michelle in quite some time. She made a special trip over to pick me up at my house, and we spent the day together - just the two of us. She took me to Schlotzsky's Deli in Warner Robins, GA for lunch. It was the first time I had ever been to Schlotzsky's. Then, we drove to Macon where we watched Batman.
Michelle was truly one of the prettiest, smartest, and lovingest souls I've had the opportunity to know. I was always so proud to call her my cousin.

I never knew Michelle in the physical sense of the word, but I knew her by the stories and the love Judy would tell me. I know Michelle loved her kids more than anything in this world. I know God would never have called her home if He didn't know that Michelle had done her job of instilling good values and the love of God in her children. I know she was a giving person to anyone she met that needed her help. i know she brought great joy to her mother Judy. Because I know these things about her I know that Judy and Michelle's children are hurting and there are no words to make that hurt any better. I hope you can all find some peace in the fact that Michelle loved them with her whole heart and that she knew and loved God. May the peace of the Lord be with you all now and forever!
