I meet Pat back in 1991 I was sent from the Fairfax Hospital to offer my services as a volunteer at the Resource Mothers Program created by Pat. From the first time I saw her I knew I found my Guardian Angel, she understood my needs there was no question about anything about my legal status in USA, from the day a meet Pat my life changed for good because she did not help only me, she helped my children, my family from Bolivia and the most important thing she helped my community, she helped people she did not know, she never ever made a difference for nobody, Pat was always in the other people shoes, Pat always thought about others than herself.
I lost one of the few good people I meet in my life, Pat I will remember you with all my love because you understood others and you never ever judge anybody. Rest in peace, free from pain, envy, vanity, God Bless you my Guardian Angel.

I am so saddened to hear of this news. Some of my earliest memories with family was split between visiting Aunt Pat and Uncle Joe in Reston, VA and gatherings at our home in Bowie, MD. I cannot remember having anything but a good time and the fondest memories when we would visit. My deepest condolences go out to my cousins and Uncle in this hard time. I am so sorry for your loss. I will miss our talks both at Starbuck's and on the phone. I will miss seeing her every weekend. I will miss her shopping stories.
