Dear Cindy and family, I just learned of Robbie's passing. As everyone has expressed, I cannot find the words to tell you how sorry I am. I got to meet and spend a little time with Robbie at the office at Devonshire. He was the very best shredder and did this job for us with a smile on his face ! Each child is special to his mother but Robbie was extra special. I know that your heart is full of wonderful memories and you will always have them to comfort you. Love to you, Judi

Rob loved to give to anyone in need. I once asked him to help by escorting his Grand Pop to the airport to meet me for a flight together. Rob's Grand Pop had had many years of high functioning Alzheimer's.
Within minutes of our scheduled meeting, I saw them coming through the crowds, hand in hand and with Rob's arm around his Grand Pop. His Grand Pop said to me, "he's taking good care of me." Rob took this responsibility very seriously.
Rob's Grand Pop passed away this time last year.
Perhaps metaphorically, his Grand Pop has his arm around Rob, hand in hand and we can hear Rob say........"he's taking good care of me."
I miss you both.
L,
Uncle Jack

I loved being Robbie's first grade teacher. He was always kind and eager to learn. Robbie was a friend to all.
He entered the classroom door every morning with a smile and left for home with that same great smile.
I can see from more recent pictures that his warmth and caring continued throughout his life. Robbie's gentle
manner and love of family and friends touched my life.

Dear Robbie, Since you came to us, there are few Zamorski memories that are not without your smile, laughter, love, support and care. When it was picture time at your reception at the house , your Mom instinctively called for you. We all paused and smiled as it was perfectly natural. You would have chuckled a bit too. I will miss the bowling, skiing, card playing, amusement riding, traveling, and long talks. I appreciate all you did and tried to do. Love to you and all the family, Uncle Jack

To the family of Rob, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I also lost a son at the same age so I know what you are going through. You will never understand why but just know that God has a plan for us all and believe in him to bring everyone thru this awful time. Rob was well liked here in the Plumbing Shop and usually had us all laughing all the time. Had some good stories for being so young. I'm sure he will be missed by all but not forgotten. God Bless.

My deepest condolences for your loss, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. I got to meet Rob by his coming to work at the Airport. I had the privilege of getting to know Rob during our many conversations. It was a pleasure watching him grow as a person and seeing his interactions with the staff here at the airport. Rob was well liked here at Dulles and I know he enjoyed his time here. I know I will miss him. I found this quote and thought it appropriate for Rob- A life so young released to heaven, left on Earth we wonder why but some are sent among us briefly 'Some have Spirits meant to fly.'

Robbie, I begged for a baby brother as my Christmas gift in 1990. I remember Mom smiling and saying that's not how it works, but I prayed and prayed for you.
The next November, Dad and Uncle Tommy were at a Jets game with Mr. Ketcha. Aunt Zosia and the girls came over to spend the day with us. We went to the CVS on Nassau Street and our moms both bought pregnancy tests. We all squeezed into our downstairs powder room to watch the tests. They were both positive! There would be two new babies to add to the Zamorski 5! We squealed and danced all around the house, we were so excited.
Later, I used to lay my head on Mom's belly and talk to you while you kicked. We called you "Herman" and "Baby Throckmorton," but we always knew you'd be named Robert.
On the day you were born, Dad called Aunt Cathy's house at 6am to tell us you'd been born. Aunt Cathy called up the stairs to wake up all of us kids and she said, "Girls, Catie, PJ, he's HERE!" We were all running around the house screaming, we were so excited. We went to celebrate your birthday by going mini-golfing and having a pizza party. Then we spent the afternoon at what would become one of your favorite places -- the beach.
Two days later, Dad drove to Egg Harbor to pick up us girls and bring us home to meet you. That felt like the longest car ride of my life. We walked into the house on Washington Road and Mom was holding you on the couch. You were so little and red! I remember quietly sitting and waiting my turn to hold you. I'll never forget your scrunched up face, your newborn smell, the way you felt in my arms.
Robbie, you were always my wish come true. I will always remember you and make sure your life was not lived in vain. You will shine on through the hearts of everyone who knew you! I love you, Robbie! xo

Dear young man with the quiet smile, you have left us and also left us with with questions. What would you have become? What would have mattered most to you? I first got to know Rob secondhand: through school pictures and holiday family photos, stories my mom shared from conversations over the phone with Cindy and the rest of the family, and--most vividly--through what his sisters told me about him when they came to visit. The picture I had of Rob was of an open, kind individual who had a strong curiosity about the world and a genuine interest in others. This was all confirmed when I first met Rob in the summer of 1999. "Star Wars: Episode 1" had just come out and I was thrilled when I found out Rob was building a podracer in his basement. We spent those days happily and unselfconsciously nerding out over the details of the films, bonding over our shared excitement and interest. Even though I was several years older than Rob, as the awkward and insecure 12 year old that I was, it meant the world to me to be able to just be myself: something Rob's sweet, generous nature made possible. Every time I encountered Rob over subsequent years, it was evident that he maintained this kindness through adolescence and into adulthood--something few can do. I saw him take care of his nieces and nephews, stand loyally and reliably by his mothers and sisters, and be completely welcoming to us extended family members. I am grateful to have been able to know him.
