Terri, Daniel, Deanna & Dawn~My heart is broken and I am so very saddened by the passing of Dave. I cannot imagine the pain and grief in your hearts. Your husband and father touched so very many lives. I count myself so fortunate that my family was one of the many. Terri and Family - You have the heartfelt condolences of Bill, David, and myself. We were all heartbroken to hear of Dave's passing. Bill and I truly believe that Troop 12 was instrumental in helping our son in many ways in his emotional growth and we are very grateful to Dave for the many parts he played in that growth. As an example, because of his participation in the Model UN that Dave sponsored, David joined his high school team, which was the first extracurricular academic endeavor he was involved with. We are grateful and wish you all the best in this difficult time.

He embraced our sons and sought to make them men - men of honor, men of courage, men of compassion. He embraced our fathers and challenged them to challenge themselves to become better teachers, better listeners, better leaders, better men. He helped us look beyond ourselves and taught us that it is not enough to live our lives in humble service to our families, to strive for success, to nurture our children. Mr. Adams will be missed by so many. His generosity to the youth in the Herndon area was truly his life passion. There are countless young men, women and children who will always remember this kind unselfish man who gave so much to so many.
