Obituary of Gerald Joseph Butkus

GERALD JOSEPH BUTKUS "JERRY" (Age 67) On June 7, 2014, in Chantilly, VA, Jerry passed away peacefully in his home in Chantilly, VA. Wonderful husband for 41 years of Valerie S. Butkus; father of Christopher Butkus, Elizabeth DuBose and Timothy Butkus; father-in-law of Richard and Meagan; grandfather of Addison, Emmerson, Graeson and Olivia. Jerry recently retired from the Department of Defense. He served in the Marines, Navy and Naval Reserves and was a longtime resident of Chantilly, VA. Viewing will be held Friday, June, 13 from 5PM-8PM at Adams-Green Funeral Home in Herndon. Service will be held Saturday, June 14 at 11AM at Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church in Chantilly, VA.
