Obituary of Scott Mills Causey

Scott Causey (age 51) On October 21, 2011, Scott Causey died suddenly after a heart attack. Scott leaves behind his wife Maria, children Nate and Sofi. brother- and sister-in-law Dan and Sofi Cahoon, their children, and "Suegra" Ofelia Recio. The family and countless friends, classmates, band mates, all other types of mates and waitresses will forever miss him and his warmth, humor, generosity, love and faith in Christ Jesus. Not a day went by when Scott was not thinking of how to be a better person, husband and father, get closer to God, or learn another Pete Townsend lick. An incredibly talented and gifted musician, Dude shared his universe with everyone he met and we are all better for it. Biff Baxter is without a doubt happy to be in the arms of his Savior, and has for certain wasted no time making his presence known. Heaven is no doubt rocking louder with Scotty Rock in the house. However, before one note got played Causer surely ran to hug his Mom, Dad, brother Glenn and dear friend Nina who have been waiting to see him. Memorial service to be held on Saturday Oct 29, 1 PM at Floris United Methodist Church, 13600 Frying Pan Rd, Herndon,VA. Burial following service. Visitation at family home after the burial service.
