Obituary of Albert Rusnak

Albert passed away Sunday afternoon at Heritage Hall Rehabilitation Center after spending the day at home with his daughter Doreen. He is also survived by his daughter Cordy and granddaughter Riley Galligan. Albert was born in Oberstuben, Slovakia, but like most families from the Sudetenland, ended up in Germany after the war. It was inevitable that a mechanically inclined boy, living near Stuttgart, ended up working for Mercedes Benz. His talent as a mechanic brought him to the US when Mercedes first started exporting their vehicles in the late 50's. Albert's ability to fix anything with moving parts was matched by his sketching talent. He discovered stained glass making in his later years and created many beautiful pieces. His talents, creativity and love for his family will make him truly missed by all who knew him.
