Douglas W. Chambers, Jr., age 49 Douglas was born on September 16, 1961, in Frankfurt, Germany, to Douglas W. Chambers, Sr. and Jean Joy Chambers Rosenbluth. He lived in College Park during his younger years and graduated from Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt, MD. He worked in the retail grocery business and then as a carpenter until he became disabled due to health reasons. He is survived by his mother, Jean Joy Rosenbluth and his step-father, Bill Rosenbluth from Reston, VA; his brother, Michael Scott Chambers of Gaithersburg, MD; an uncle, David A. Joy of Jordan, UT; two nieces, Cara Jean Chambers of Damascus, MD and Racheal Howard of Frederick, MD; his step brother, Steve Rosenbluth of Burbank, CA; a step sister, Laura Rosenbluth, of San Diego, CA, a step-sister, Amy Wallace, of Carrollton, TX, his best friend, Wiley Spaller, of Fairfax, VA, and his faithful Golden Retriever, Buddy. Anyone wishing to remember him in any way may make a donation to the Fairfax County Animal Shelter at 4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax, VA 22030. There will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 20, at 10:00 A.M. at the Adams-Green Funeral Home in Herndon, VA, with the family receiving friends until 11:30 a.m.
