I've been fortunate to be Cam, Larry and Jenny's neighbor since they moved to Dunbar Way in Countryside. I met Cam soon after she moved in, and we connected instantly. We enjoyed walking, discussing decorating issues, and talking about our families. Many times over the years, I helped Cam decide on oufits for different events and the appropriate jewelry to accessorize the outfit. Cam returned the favor by helping me find my Mother of the Bride dress for my daughter's wedding last year. She was a great friend. I'll miss you Cam.

Dear Larry, Jennifer, Russell, Patti and Nick: Words cannot convey the sorrow your whole Cleveland family feels at the loss of Camille. Though we did not see each other often, we are still family. My most pleasant memories will always be growing up together all of us cousins and celebrating the holidays. Of course Christmas Eve was always the favorite whether it be at my grandmothers or Aunt Jenny and Uncle Johns or Catherine and Johnnys. Life has a funny way of reconnecting people. Though Camille and I, who share the same paternal grandmother, grew up in Ohio and saw each other often during our growing up years, there were many adult years where we lost contact. Part of that had to do with geography--me in California and she in Asia and then Virginia. But it is amazing that years can go by and with one life event (mine) she called me and we become instantly reconnected. Not only that, but we were able to see one another in 2008 (California) and 2010 (Virginia). Our conversations were frequent and enjoyable. Camille was smart, organized, pramatic and always planning. Above this, though, was a woman of deep, Christ-like character who showed compassion and love. I already miss her voice, and yet we shared a conversation a little more than a week before she left this earth. I know that her family is missing her even more. In times like these I am reminded that she has "fought the good fight, ran the race" and has already been greeted by the Lord Jesus Christ with these words: "Well done, good and faithful servant."
