Dear Patti, Eddie, and Alex, It is with heartfelt sympathy that I share in the grief of dad's passing. I will always remember the compassion and love he shared with me. Jimmy, words cannot express how much you touched our hearts the brief time we've known each other. From shoveling the snow at 5 am so I could get to the hospital if I went into labor, to teaching us about crabgrass and traditional Japanese culture. I feel honored to have met such a genuine, proud, loving, and knowledgable man. You will forever be our friend, neighbor, and teacher. Rest well, Jimmy, we love you.

Jimmy has been a great neighbor, friend, and mentor to our family over the 6 years we lived on Greenkeepers.
We loved looking up on his deck when we walked down the path on a family walk or headed to the playground with the kids. Jimmy was there greeting us with a friendly smile and always had wonderful things to say about the kids and took a genuine interest in our family.
He was always patient with showing the kids his koi pond and educating them about nature and being good people. Jimmy educated James and I on the importance of family and education. We could count on Jimmy for sage advice about questions we had in life and with the kids.
We will truly miss Jimmy! He will always be a part of our lives and memories!

We were blessed to know Jimmy by coming up from Florida to visit our daughter and her family. Jimmy was a wise man. He always had a positive way of looking at things. We appreciated discussing things with him and getting his opinion. He was the kind of person that everyone would want to have as a friend and neighbor. He will be missed by all. All of us who had the opportunity to meet him and get to know him were blessed. Our condolences go to his family and all of those who knew him.
