Obituary of Nancy Lucille Bobby

Nancy L. Bobby, 94, of Sterling, VA, formerly of Herndon, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at Monroe House, Sterling, Virginia. Born December 12, 1919, to the late Vicenzo and Domenica Buscaglia Solomone of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Nancy and her husband, John Bobby, were married 71 years. They owned several businesses throughout the years including a grocery store, an ocean side motel and Oak Hill Farms, Inc., a home building/land development company. Nancy's priorities in life were always her faith, her family and her home. She is survived by her husband, John Bobby; her son John E Bobby, his wife, Letty Bobby: her daughter Gaila O'Neil, her husband Michael O'Neil; two granddaughters, Christine Bobby and Ashley Leathwood; one sister Dolores Paris; one brother William Solomone: many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the thoughtful staff of Monroe House, Sterling, Virginia, for all of their support. Their sincere caring and endless compassion will never be forgotten. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00am Saturday, August 23rd at Adams-Green Funeral Home, Herndon, Virginia with Chaplain Stephen Becker officiating. Interment will follow at National Memorial Park in Falls Church, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm Friday, August 22nd at Adams-Green Funeral Home, Herndon, Virginia.
