Vinette Noumbissi posted a condolence
Friday, August 29, 2014
Aunt Blanche and Uncle Dudley Lawrence were relatives of my family in Jamaica. They became cornerstones of my future life when I met and stayed with them from time to time while I was a student in Paris, France from 1962 to 1964. More than anyone at the time, Aunt Blanche Lawrence also affectionately called Mama Blanche was the guide, mentor and mother figure to me. She later on in life served as a guide for my own children when they moved from Cameroon to the Washington DC metropolitan area to further their studies. I am indeed grateful to God for her life. Today Aunt Blanche is with God, His Son Our Lord Jesus Christ and her beloved husband Uncle Dudley. We pray for blessings on her family here on earth until we all meet again. Sincere condolences to Amy, Joe, Estelle, Joan and Luis from the entire Lawrence family in Jamaica as well as the Noumbissi family in Cameroon. Vinette Noumbissi nee Lawrence
