Obituary of Gillian Blythe Gaver

Gillian Blythe Gaver, April 1, 1961 ~ September 30, 2014, a beloved mother and wife, daughter and sister passed away on September 30 in Falls Church, Virginia. She succumbed to complications from cancer. Gillian was born in Columbus Ohio, and lived in Germany, Bellevue, Nebraska; Silver Spring, Maryland and settled in Herndon, Virginia in 1988. She attended the University of Maryland and earned her MS in Sociology from the University of Nebraska, Omaha. Gillian worked in marketing and political research, including several presidential campaigns before becoming a full-time mother to her two beautiful daughters, Sydney and Sara. She was a wonderful wife to her husband, Dave, for twenty-five years. Gillian was involved with the Herndon High School Cheer Team and Choir Program. She loved to travel, read, cook and enjoyed wine tastings, especially in northern Italy and the Loire Valley region in France. We could not have asked for a more perfect mother and wife. She will be missed more than anyone will ever know. She was the beloved daughter of Martha Belle Jones of Youngstown Ohio and the late Carl Robert Jones and daughter-in-law of Shelby and Donald Gaver of Boonsboro, Maryland.
