Robert Eugene Cummins, "Bob," age 70, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday October 2, 2014 at Georgetown Hospital due to complications from surgery. He is the beloved husband of Bonnie Kay Cummins, loving father of Karin B. Schwartz and Laurie B. Morris, and grandfather of Zachary and Nicholas. Family will receive friends on Monday October 6, 2014, from 6 - 8pm at Sterling United Methodist Church, 304 E. Church Rd. Sterling VA, 20164. A celebration of life will be held the following day at 2pm in the same location. Due to the passion for his church the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his name to Sterling United Methodist Church Building Fund.
