Obituary of Linnie Ellen Brockman

Brockman, Linnie Ellen Rutter Age 102 On Friday, October 10, 2014 surrounded by her family, peacefully went to her eternal home. She was born September 4, 1912, to Leven Adams and Maude Ellen Wortman Rutter. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Cordona Brockman, her son Edward Savel "Mike" Brockman, and siblings William, Arthur, and Margaret Rutter, Helen O'Reilly and Inez Howser. She is survived by 4 Granddaughters, Jessie Moore , Linda Womack (James), Rebecca Washington (Victor), Margie Brockman (Andre), 9 Great Grandchildren, Bronson & Samantha Moore, James Womack, Jr., Edward, Victor Jr., and Sierra Washington and Anthony, Jonathan & Shania Brockman. She also is survived by 4 Great Great Grandchildren, 3 nieces, 4 nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Herndon, Virginia on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 1:15 PM. In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made in Linnie's name to Capital Care Hospice in Leesburg, VA.
