Obituary of Anne Sablosky

Anne Sablosky, née Pearlman, died October 24th in Great Falls, Virginia at the age of 87. She was married to Dr. Lester Sablosky (deceased in December 2012), formerly of Norristown and Blue Bell, PA, for 58 years. Anne graduated from Pottstown High School in 1945 and then entered nursing school at the Jewish Hospital's, now Einstein Medical Center, School of Nursing, in Philadelphia, where she received her R.N. Her career included home visits to new mothers and infants, as a public health nurse. Married in 1953, Anne was a devoted partner to Lester throughout their lives, often working with him at his medical practice in Norristown and later in King of Prussia, PA. She enjoyed oil painting, antiquing, playing tennis, needlepoint, interior design, yoga, meditation, and travel with Lester. Anne is survived by her two sons, Richard and Craig, her daughter, Robin, and her two grandsons, David and Daniel. She will be interred beside her beloved husband Lester at his final resting place in Arlington National Cemetery, in a future date to be announced to friends and family.
