I was privileged to have known Martha at GFUMC as we volunteered at theCedars luncheons. She was a faithful servant as she made the long trip from Berryville every third Tuesday with her huge bag of dough to roll and bake her delicious rolls. Everyone enjoyed her freshly baked rolls and considered them the highlight of the meal. She was a wonderful lady and will be greatly missed. Martha and her loved ones are in my prayers and thoughts. My sister Kathi (who passed away in 1999) was best friends with Mary Beth Sullivan, Martha's daughter. They were back & forth between homes from the day we moved to Great Falls (summer 1966) until Kathi moved to Colorado when she was "just 17" as the song goes. They kept in touch over the phone & by mail, then by emails. Sharing stories about their own kids once they grew up. I remember Mary Beth, Kathi & me & my friends dancing in our den to 45 records. Martha was a great cook & there was always something Delicious baking in the Sullivan kitchen. Martha was SO kind. I was a "lost kid" with few friends the first year in Great Falls but she was a great hugger & listener. She helped me through some lonely days & nights.
God Bless her. I am positive that there is a Heaven & that she & Sharon are hugging together there now.
My biggest condolences to Mary Beth, Rob & the entire family & all of Martha's many friends.
