Doris was one of the finest instructors the Clemson English Department ever had, and as such, she loved Robert Frost as much as Dick did. (Though she may not have played softball with Bob as Dick did, she probably made him a sandwich.) But as Frost so memorably said, "Nothing gold can stay," and Doris was 24K.
